Go Get Em Magical Girl Toko Akai [Latest-2022]

Gameplay Players control Toko Akai, a girl with no magical powers, as she attempts to reach the top of the Academy in the hopes of beating her rival, Ayase Misaki. The game is a simple platformer, and follows the same basic setup of other games in the genre, such as Kirby Super Star, though with a little extra added. The goal of each level is to reach the end and then defeat the boss. Levels take place over two different school year cycles (January to June and July to December), and the gameplay can vary greatly from level to level. At the beginning of each level, players must run to a specific location, then start jumping to reach the platform they must jump on. All players must cross the same square on the screen, but players can jump higher and pass through enemies. The further players progress, the higher their score is. Each level has two sections: the first section is for training, and the second is for the actual game. In the training section, players must jump to a certain height, and then stand on a square. When they do so, they are transported to the actual level. At the beginning of the training levels, their score will be shown on-screen, but as the level progresses, their score will be displayed for a set time, usually three seconds. Players must then jump on the square to get back to the training levels. However, during the training section, players can be killed by the first enemy that appears. They can also fall off the level, and if they do so, they will have to start over at the beginning of the training area. The game also contains many collectible items, ranging from temporary upgrades to hidden doors. In addition, hidden rooms in the levels are accessible via secret codes, and while these rooms have no effect on the game, they can be accessed with a code in the main menu. Reception The game received "average" reviews according to the review aggregation website Metacritic. In Japan, Famitsu gave it a score of one nine, one eight, one eight, and one nine for a total of 33 out of 40.
